We are helping orphans and vulnerable children - 2nd FASE

Our Orphan sponsorship programme changes the lives of children in need. We are helping those children to have access to education by paying for school fees and copy books.

Orphan Sponsorship Programme (OSP)
Orphan sponsorship is a vital lifeline for many orphans and vulnerable young children.
We currently support nearly 50 children (5-23 years old) in a poor community called Kamona (Niangoloko, western part of Burkina Faso). We aim to welcome many more into our family, but we can’t do anything without your support.

Bijou’s Story
“When my father died, we lost our only source of income. It was a difficult and worrying time. My mother was able to make a little money but not enough her to put adequate food on the table. One year ago, OSP found us a sponsor and now our lives have been transformed. I am so happy to be back at school, where I hope I can fulfill my dream of becoming a teacher one day.”

Project Updates

Minata left primary school three years ago. Many girls like her want help not getting married before 18. Your support kept these three girls in school. Chantal, in the middle, has her baccalaureate and is ready for university. In our underprivileged region, stories like Chantal’s and Minita’s are many. Chantal is glad to study and work to support her family. We urged her to be brave as a student. Bijou, Chantal, and Natou with their new school bags and copybooks. Bijou, left in the picture, is preparing to finish her post-primary degree this year in Burkina Faso.
