The SELUT project is a center for training, academic guidance, and social and professional integration. We operate in a time where education is key to transforming society. However, two major challenges exist: first, the variety of private and free education options can confuse many young people; second, many people living with disabilities struggle to access quality education. With these challenges in mind, SELUT’s mission is to help restore lives across educational, vocational, social, and spiritual areas, ultimately impacting the world for the Kingdom of God.

With its vision to create a framework for rebuilding society toward a better future, SELUT offers activities in several areas: youth and entrepreneurship, student monitoring and guidance, academic reintegration, social integration, training, and social action.

What We Are Doing:

1- Train facilitators who provide courses and education to people who lack access to quality learning opportunities. In this campaign, fifteen (15) facilitators will be trained in leadership within the school environment, as well as in supervisory and monitoring techniques for students living with disabilities. These facilitators will work with schools to support students facing trauma and addictions, and to help others develop practical skills to grow and become strong leaders in their generation.

2- Entrepreneurship training for people living in extreme conditions, such as street children and vulnerable youth. Alongside learning how to make soap, recycle clothes, or sew, participants explore what it means to take responsibility, lead with integrity, and contribute to their communities. The civic component helps them understand basic civic knowledge and how everyday actions can support community development. In this way, the program builds both practical skills for earning an income and the personal qualities needed to become responsible leaders who make a positive difference in society. 

  • A liquid soap ingredient pack costs $13.19 and can generate $26.38 in sales. This means that each participant who invests $0.87 can double their money.
  • For dyeing clothes, a $13.19 pack can be used for more than 15 items. A dyed t-shirt sells for $8.79, so a participant who invests $0.87 can earn $8.79 from selling one shirt.
  • Sewing follows the same principle. Those most interested in sewing will join workshops to improve their skills and eventually produce their own creations. By practicing regularly, these young people can find their place in society.

After the training, a follow-up program will ensure effective monitoring. Training will be organized in waves of 15 participants, focusing especially on street children.
