Project Updates
March 2023
This project blessed 4 families, each family had a donation of $50 in total in products, they received:
- A big grocery basket with healthy products
- Fruit trees (Lemon, orange, apple)
- A Bible
- 3 Devotional books for the whole family
- 1 board game (a puzzle with a family picture)
- A letter motivating them to have more family time.
With the 4 families, we impacted one community “Caserío Las Flores” and 21 people. A family (my family) went together to visit families, we spent time with each family, sharing the gospel, praying for them and having a good time with each one, also a local pastor was with us with the aim of connecting each family to a the local church.
The families selected were families that were facing a hard time economically, physically, emotionally or spiritually, so by providing the kit we reminded them that the Lord is showing that He cares for them and loves them. With the kit they had food for around 2 weeks, also devotionals for a month, and fruit trees that can be used for their consumption or for sale.
After a few weeks of talking with the pastor, they informed us that 3 of the families keep visiting the church and they are willing to know more about the Lord, we are so happy that the blessing was not only temporal and economical but is having spiritual fruits, glory to God for that!
