Donate a pad, keep a girl in school.

We intend to raise USD 1407 to buy sanitary pads and underwear for 100 teenage girls who risk dropping out of school because of early pregnancies. Providing these basic items will give them dignity.

RISKS TEENAGE GIRLS FACE
During the Covid-19 pandemic, thousands of teenage girls in Kenya have been reported to have become pregnant. Most of these come from poor family backgrounds and they can hardly afford basic needs like sanitary pads and underwear. They are lured by men who promise to give them money to buy these basic items.

GRINDING POVERTY
We intend to raise USD 1407 to buy sanitary pads and pants for 100 teenage girls from poor families who live in Kiandutu, a slum in Thika town, Kenya. These girls face the risk of becoming pregnant and not completing school if they fall into the hands of men who lure them with money to buy these basic items. We believe that all people are created in the image of God and need dignity. Providing these basic needs will give the girls dignity.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Your donation of $10, $15, $20 or $25 will help protect the girls from men who cheat them, it will prevent teenage pregnancies from occurring, it will keep the girls in school and keep them healthy. I asking you to join in providing these basic needs to these girls so they can stay in school and complete their studies.
